重慶師范大學(xué)馬克思主義學(xué)院辦學(xué)歷史悠久，底蘊(yùn)深厚，經(jīng)過(guò)多年的建設(shè)和發(fā)展，已成為西部一流、國(guó)內(nèi)有重要影響的馬克思主義理論教學(xué)、研究、宣傳和人才培養(yǎng)的堅(jiān)強(qiáng)陣地，先后獲批重慶市重點(diǎn)馬克思主義學(xué)院、重慶市委宣傳部支持高質(zhì)量建設(shè)單位等多項(xiàng)稱(chēng)號(hào)。

學(xué)院設(shè)有馬克思主義理論一級(jí)學(xué)科博士后工作站，擁有馬克思主義理論一級(jí)學(xué)科碩士點(diǎn)，哲學(xué)一級(jí)學(xué)科碩士點(diǎn)和9個(gè)省部級(jí)科研基地、2個(gè)省部級(jí)高端智庫(kù)、3個(gè)省部級(jí)優(yōu)秀教學(xué)團(tuán)隊(duì)、1個(gè)省部級(jí)哲學(xué)社會(huì)科學(xué)創(chuàng)新團(tuán)隊(duì)，2個(gè)省部級(jí)思政名師工作室。馬克思主義理論是重慶市“十二五”“十三五”“十四五”重點(diǎn)學(xué)科，思想政治教育（師范類(lèi)）本科專(zhuān)業(yè)是國(guó)家級(jí)一流本科專(zhuān)業(yè)，通過(guò)了教育部師范專(zhuān)業(yè)二級(jí)認(rèn)證。《新文科建設(shè)中習(xí)近平新時(shí)代中國(guó)特色社會(huì)主義思想“三進(jìn)”創(chuàng)新研究》獲批教育部首批新文科研究與改革實(shí)踐項(xiàng)目。

學(xué)院師資隊(duì)伍中有博士生、碩士生導(dǎo)師56人，全國(guó)文化名家暨“四個(gè)一批”理論人才1人、全國(guó)高校思想政治理論課教學(xué)標(biāo)兵1人，全國(guó)高校優(yōu)秀思想政治理論課教師提名人選1人，全國(guó)高校輔導(dǎo)員年度人物提名1人，教育部高校思政課分教學(xué)指導(dǎo)委員會(huì)委員2人，全國(guó)高校思想政治理論課特等獎(jiǎng)1人、一等獎(jiǎng)1人、二等獎(jiǎng)1人。學(xué)院近年獲批國(guó)家社科基金項(xiàng)目20項(xiàng)（重點(diǎn)項(xiàng)目3項(xiàng)）、省部級(jí)項(xiàng)目55項(xiàng)（重大項(xiàng)目10項(xiàng)），發(fā)表CSSCI高水平論文100余篇，獲教育部人文社科優(yōu)秀成果二等獎(jiǎng)2項(xiàng)、三等獎(jiǎng)2項(xiàng)，重慶市社會(huì)科學(xué)優(yōu)秀成果獎(jiǎng)一等獎(jiǎng)3項(xiàng)、二等獎(jiǎng)5項(xiàng)、三等獎(jiǎng)5項(xiàng)。先后舉辦了“新時(shí)代高校思想政治教育規(guī)律與發(fā)展展望”“新時(shí)代引領(lǐng)社會(huì)思潮論壇”等高端會(huì)議。

“面向國(guó)家需要的大學(xué)生思想政治教育工作測(cè)評(píng)體系構(gòu)建與實(shí)踐”榮獲國(guó)家教學(xué)成果二等獎(jiǎng)，“三維五步五課堂”實(shí)踐教學(xué)改革與創(chuàng)新入選2017年教育部思想政治理論課建設(shè)優(yōu)秀工作案例和2019年教育部“思政課教學(xué)方法改革項(xiàng)目擇優(yōu)推廣計(jì)劃”；思想政治教育專(zhuān)業(yè)在重慶市高校專(zhuān)業(yè)競(jìng)爭(zhēng)力評(píng)估中排名全市六個(gè)同專(zhuān)業(yè)第一。

學(xué)院累計(jì)培養(yǎng)碩士生、本科生3000余人，獲全國(guó)先進(jìn)班集體1個(gè)。畢業(yè)生中有國(guó)家全國(guó)優(yōu)秀教師、“全國(guó)五一勞動(dòng)獎(jiǎng)?wù)隆鲍@得者等。

After years of construction and development, the Marxism College of Chongqing Normal University, which boasts a rich history and a profound foundation, has firmly established itself as a premier institution in western China and a nationally influential center for teaching, research, and promotion of Marxist theories, as well as talent cultivation. The Marxism College has successively earned numerous recognitions such as the Key Marxist Institute of Chongqing and the High-Quality Construction Unit supported by the Propaganda Department of Chongqing Municipal Party Committee.

The Marxism College houses a post-doctoral research station for Marxist Theory and offers master's programs in Marxist Theory and Philosophy. It also comprises nine provincial-level research bases, two provincial-level high-end think tanks, three provincial-level outstanding teaching teams, one provincial-level philosophy and social science innovation team, as well as two provincial-level teaching masters’ studios for ideological and political education. Marxist Theory is designated as a key discipline in Chongqing during the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan," "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan," and "Fourteenth Five-Year Plan." Moreover, its undergraduate program in Ideological and Political Education (for teacher education) is a nationally acclaimed first-class program, having passed the Secondary Accreditation of the Ministry of Education. The project “Innovative Study on the ‘Three Incorporations’ of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era In the Construction of New Liberal Arts” was approved as the first batch of new liberal arts research and reform practice projects of the Ministry of Education.

The faculty of the college comprises 56 doctoral and master's supervisors, one national leading talent in philosophy and social sciences from "Ten Thousand Talent Program", one national cultural celebrity and "Four Batches" theoretical talent, one national teaching pacesetter in ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities, and one nominee for national outstanding teacher of ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities, one nominee for the annual figure of national college counselors, two members of the Teaching Guidance Committee for Ideological and Political Courses in Colleges and Universities of the Ministry of Education, one special prize winner , one first prize winner, and one second prize winner for ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities nationwide. The achievements of the school in recent years include approval for 20 national social science fund projects (three of which are key projects), 55 provincial level projects (including 10 major projects), and more than 100 high-quality CSSCI papers, two second prizes and two third prizes of Outstanding Achievement in Humanities and Social Sciences of the Ministry of Education, and three first prizes, five second prizes and five third prizes of Chongqing Social Science Outstanding Achievement Award. The college has also hosted high level conferences such as "The Education Rule and Development Prospect of Ideological and Political Education in Colleges and Universities in the New Era" and "Forum on Leading Social Ideological Trends in the New Era".

The project "Construction and Practice of Evaluation System for College Students' Ideological and Political Education Work Oriented to National Needs" won the second prize of National Teaching Achievements, and the practical teaching reform and innovation of "three-dimensional, five-step, five-classroom" were selected as the excellent work case in ideological and political theory course construction of the Ministry of Education in 2017 and the "Merit-based Promotion Plan of the Ideological and Political Course Teaching Method Reform Project" of the Ministry of Education in 2019; The major of ideological and political education ranked first in the evaluation of professional competitiveness of colleges and universities among the six similar majors in Chongqing.

The Marxism College has nurtured over 3000 master's and undergraduate students, and has been awarded as National Advanced Class once. Among its graduates are national leading talent in philosophy and social sciences from "Ten Thousand Talent Program", national outstanding teachers, recipients of the "National May Day Labor Medal".

The Marxism College of Chongqing Normal University will continue to closely follow the major strategic needs of the country, taking it as its own duty to cultivate young talents with firm ideals and beliefs, profound patriotism, strong abilities and skills, and outstanding comprehensive qualities.
